Leaders of the Craft attend a resurgent Fellowship Lodge No 2535

Saturday 3rd May 2025 was a momentous day for Fellowship Lodge No 2535.

In attendance at the meeting was Most Worshipful Bro Peter Geoffrey Lowndes, the immediate Past Pro Grand Master and five Right Worshipful Brethren.

What started as a simple process of repurposing a Lodge facing closure turned out to be an event of considerable proportions with a resplendent amount of gold on show. The Master Elect was none other than the RW Bro Dr Olorogun Moses Taiga, Immediate Past District Grand Master of Nigeria; and the proceedings were held in the Buckinghamshire Temple.

The meeting was opened by RW Bro Isaac Hood at 10:00am, in true Emulation Lodge of Improvement style in the three Degrees, then resumed in the First Degree. MW Bro Peter Jeffrey Lowndes was then invited to conduct the ceremony of Installation.

On taking the Chair of King Solomon, MW Bro Lowndes gave a brief history of the Temple, describing it as one of his favourite temples.

MW Bro Lowndes conducted the Installation ceremony with gravitas and style, ably assisted by W Bro Zac Smith (DC), W Bro Naftali Ayieko (SW), W Bro Gur Samuel (JW) and W Bro Tosin Oladele-Ajose (IG).  The installation ceremony concluded with the MW Bro Lowndes delivering the address to the Master, RW Bro Julian Soper delivering the address to the Wardens and RW Bro Emile Carr delivering the address to the Brethren.

In his closing remarks, RW Bro Dr Moses Taiga thanked MW Bro Lowndes for honouring him as the Installing Master and, in appreciation, declared the Installation team as Honorary members of the Lodge, for which MW Bro Lowndes and his team thanked the Worshipful Master.

The Worshipful Master also thanked the MW The Metropolitan Grand Master for his support and RW Bro Julian Soper for attending the meeting; and wished VW Bro Graham Redman and W Bro Matthew Christmas speedy recoveries. The Lodge was then closed in harmony.

The meeting was followed with a sumptuous prosecco reception and Luncheon at the Grand Connaught Rooms to conclude what was indeed an occasion to be remembered.
